Make Music Day June 21, 2026 2:00-6:00 pm

  • Bertie County Arts Council 124 South King Street Windsor, NC 27983 US (map)

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, between 2:00-6:00 pm, BCAC is supporting “Make Music Day”, an international event, which will be held in the Artisan Alley and behind the BCAC Art Gallery. Refreshments will be provided. All of it is free and open to the public.

“Make Music Day” was launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique and is celebrated on the same day in more than 2,000 cities in dozens of countries around the world. Unlike a typical music festival, “Make Music Day” is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of any musical style, of any use of instrument...yes, the ‘voice’ is!

At 2 PM, the event will start off with Christa Faison-Hall, who sang beautifully at our May 1, 2026 First Friday. Also performing are the Windsor Elementary School Dancers, Nayland Collier, and various other performers.

Please contact Nayland Collier at nayland1970@gmail.com or 252-325-0062, if you are interested in being a performer for this exciting community event.

Thank you from the Bertie County Arts Council Board!
